Crossing Borders is a Christian ministry and our content reflects our faith and our heart for refugee care. We are looking for a part-time or contract content writer who has articles published by other Christian organizations. Nonprofit experience is a plus. This position is part-time or contract and is fully remote.

Our current need is to have three to four posts and articles per month, ranging from about 500-700 words per piece:

• One in the format of a digest of recent North Korea headlines, as seen here.

• The other posts are topical blog post on a range of topics that we can either guide or the writer can suggest

Responsibilities:

• Produce original and high-quality content focused on North Korean refugees as it relates North Korea, China, South Korea

• Create and deliver to a roadmap to write compelling, consumer-facing content that blends creative and educational writing

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's in English, Journalism, or related field experience

• Minimum 2 years related experience

• Examples of published content

Familiarity with the following platforms preferred:

• SquareSpace
