Serving Trafficked North Korean Women
What we do
We restore the broken lives of North Koreans through the love of Jesus Christ.
Crossing Borders offers North Korean refugees and their children opportunities to thrive by providing physical care, emotional healing and spiritual guidance in a safe community.
We believe that the gospel alone gives lasting hope, peace and abundant life.
Serving trafficked refugee women
Crossing Borders ensures trafficked North Korean women’s safety, provides spiritual counseling, medical care and issues micro loans. And that's just the beginning.
We connect each North Korean refugee with a community to provide them with support and we start churches where there are none.
Our goal is to help each refugee reach their God-given potential. In our care for North Korean refugees, we follow one simple rule: Don’t do too much.
Whatever it is they want to do and whoever they want to become, we help them get there. We have found that, when we do too much, refugees become over dependent on our support. Our goal is for each refugee to be able to financially support themselves.
We measure our success by surveying our refugees each year. We ask them the following questions:
How healthy do you feel?
How safe to do you feel?
Though the statistics ebb and flow, we have found that our refugees feel healthier and safer as a direct result of the work that Crossing Borders does. We can also see an improvement in people’s lives through the many stories of progress we bear witness to in our blog and reports.
Help Trafficked North Korean Women
You can help trafficked North Korean women get medical assistance, job training or safe transit out of China. With the support of your monthly contributions, Crossing Borders will help them to find safety, receive compassion and hear the gospel.
