Crossing Borders is looking for willing volunteers who are interested in mobilizing a Crossing Borders Local Chapter in their community.
Local Chapters will
- Be put into contact with Crossing Borders for updates on opportunities to engage communities
- Serve as hubs of contact for individuals looking to learn more about Crossing Borders’ mission
- Be acknowledged as official supporters of Crossing Borders
TO RAISE AWARENESS, LOCAL CHAPTERS WILL
- Spread news locally about the refugee crisis in China
- Reach out to institutions such as churches, schools, businesses, etc.
- Organize events / social media campaigns to share information about Crossing Borders’ work
TO GROW SUPPORT, LOCAL CHAPTERS WILL
- Find local contacts [names, emails, addresses] for Crossing Borders mailing
- Collect donations / fundraise to support Crossing Borders initiatives
- Pray for North Korean refugees in China and God’s work in Northeast Asia
